Caratella + Partners Ltd is run by Tahir Caratella and was established in 2021 following the demand to create unique spaces within the home. We are fully insured and registered in the UK.

Tahir has extensive experience and knowledge in the area of Architectural Technology and Design, having worked on a variety of projects from high rise high-end apartments to single self-build bespoke houses. He has worked for a prestigious award winning architectural practice in Leicester and qualified as a Chartered Architectural Technologist in 2019, having graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester in 2013 with a BSc honours degree in Architectural Technology and Design. Tahir is a part time tutor at De Montfort University, Leicester and is currently the regional CPD organiser for CIAT East Midlands Region.

What is a Chartered Architectural Technologist?

The main difference between an Architect and a Chartered Architectural Technologist is that a Chartered Architectural Technologist can continue the project through to the highly technical design stage. Not only can a Chartered Architectural Technologist take your project through the planning process, but also through building regulations approvals, right through to final certification, regardless of size or value of your project. In a nutshell a Chartered Architectural Technologist will not only advise on “colours and shapes”, but also have the technical know-how of the nuts and bolts of the project.
